Cancellation Policies

At Hotel MARJABA we are committed to fulfilling the rental of the venue and the services included on the date stipulated with our clients. If "MARJABA" had to cancel the event on its part without just cause, it will refund "THE CLIENT" 100% of the total paid up to the date on which it notifies "THE CLIENT" of the cancellation.

In the event that "THE CLIENT" decides to cancel the event before making the second payment after the reservation, the first payment made will not be recovered, and this will be applied as a conventional penalty for having scheduled the corresponding date, which consequently causes losses to MARJABA for not having been able to rent the scheduled date. In order for the cancellation notice to be considered submitted, it must be communicated in writing signed solely by “THE CLIENT” and acknowledgment of receipt must be obtained from the hotel.

If due to a fortuitous event or force majeure, or any other event beyond the control of the parties, the event has to be cancelled due to its impossibility, “MARJABA” will notify “THE CLIENT” immediately, making them fully aware of the circumstances that have arisen. In which case, “MARJABA” is obliged to change the date according to the availability of its agenda, without any penalty for “THE CLIENT”, respecting the agreed price; “THE CLIENT” must schedule the new date within a period not exceeding one calendar year from the date of the cancellation; In the event that “THE CLIENT” does not wish to reschedule the date, it will be considered a cancellation of the event and the provisions of the assumptions of this clause apply.

SIXTH. ASSUMPTIONS DUE TO HEALTH CONTINGENCY. If due to an emergency or health contingency, local or federal authorities prohibit the holding of social events (red light), “MARJABA” will notify “THE CLIENT”, giving them the option of rescheduling the event for a single occasion according to the availability of their agenda, without any penalty for “THE CLIENT”, respecting the agreed price; "THE CLIENT" must schedule the new date within a period not to exceed 6 months from the date the contingency ends.

If, due to an emergency or health contingency, local or federal authorities limit the number of people in social events (orange or yellow traffic light), and "THE CLIENT" decides to hold the event with a smaller number of guests than indicated in the first clause of this contract, and respecting the provisions of the corresponding authorities, there will be no right to any refund or price adjustment due to this circumstance.

SEVENTH. SANITARY MEASURES. "THE CLIENT" undertakes that both itself, as well as guests and suppliers, comply with the corresponding sanitary measures, for which reason signs will be posted at the entrance so that people entering the facilities comply with the required sanitary and distance measures, being their absolute responsibility to enter the event.
